At the invitation of Avantazh Capital Management and PRT Communication Group Robert Kwiatkowski, Business development director of Warsaw Stock Exchange, made a visit to Kharkiv. He stayed two days at Kharkiv, during which time Mr. Kwiatkowski had a meeting with leaders of local companies and hold a press conference.

During the visit WSE members and representatives of Avantazh Capital Management had negotiations and as a result it has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. After accomplishing of legal formalities Avantazh Capital Management will be granted the status of Warsaw Stock Exchange IPO Partner. Therefore, Avantazh will become WSE Representative in Kharkiv and will undertake all and any actions directly or indirectly related with procurement of companies interested in introducing of the financial instruments issued by them into trading on markets operated by the WSE.

Yuri Kostoglodov, Chairman Of The Board of Avantazh Group, comment: “It is a new page in Avantazh history. This year we had made some movements in the direction of business spheres diversification. For example we become more powerful in the sphere of investment banking. That fact that Asset Management Company Avantazh Capital Management will become WSE IPO Partner in Ukraine testifies a visible progress and improvement of success from the part of famous financial institutes”.



About the Exchange

Warsaw Stock Exchange operates on the basis of three acts dated July 29, 2005:

  • On Public Offering, Conditions Governing the Introduction of Financial Instruments to Organised Trading, and Public Companies;
  • On Trading in Financial Instruments;
  • On Capital Market Supervision.

The capital market tradition in Poland dates back to 1817, when the first Mercantile Exchange was founded in Warsaw. In its present form, the Exchange began operating on 16 April 1991, from the outset organising securities trading in electronic form.
