In Ukraine there is no suitable format of investment for mid-cap business. In Poland such format is proposed by the NewConnect trading platform and variety of investment companies focused on mid-cap business – Yuri Kostoglodov said.

Last week AMC «Avantazh Capital Management» (Kharkov), authorized IPO-Partner of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) in Ukraine, meet with a stock exchange management (president WSE Ludwik Sobolewski and the director of the Development Department Robert Kwiatkowsky), investment banks and authorized Advisers of WSE. Discussion of issuing possibilities of three Ukrainian companies focused in agriculture (manufacture and processing of agricultural production), property management and power engineering (production of energy-saving equipment) segments was the purpose of meetings. The program of IPO-Partnership and launch of a Pre-IPO fund in partnership with AMC and Polish investors were discussed during the meeting.

Yuri Kostoglodov, Chairman of Board, Avantazh Group: «In Poland AMC «Avantazh Capital Management» appeared in two forms: with the WSE we have discussed the future plans of cooperation. One of the confirmed joint actions becomes Road-Show across the largest cities of Eastern Ukraine which will be arranged in the end of the year. It will be large-scale presentation of NewConnect trading platform opportunities for small-cap and mid-cap business of Kharkov, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk and, probably, other cities. In Road-Show investment banks will participate also.

During meetings with investment banks and authorized advisers we appeared in another form, – as the authorized representative of the Ukrainian companies which are interested in the introduction of the financial instruments issued by them onto the European capital market. Capitalisation of these companies less than 10 million Euro, therefore it hangs together well to present them as potential NewConnect issuers».

According to Yuri Kostoglodov, the companies interest investors as potential clients. The «working stage of listing preparation» has begun.

Yuri Kostoglodov: «Thanking Astarta-Kiev and Kernel Group had successful placements on WSE, Ukrainian companies get good character. The Polish investment community sees positively at the Ukrainian business. We could prove that companies we presented have a highlight which makes them attractive to investment».
